PortalBorn – A Solo Indie Creation
PortalBorn is an atmospheric 2D action RPG that takes you on a journey through shattered worlds, mysterious dimensions, and cosmic portals. You begin your adventure on a quiet island, encounter mysterious beings such as the Guardian of Worlds, and are drawn deeper and deeper into a story of light, darkness, and inner conflict.
The game combines combat, farming, mining, engineering, loot systems, and character progression into an ever-growing experience. Each world has its own unique identity — from corrupted forests to abandoned zombie-infested regions.
PortalBorn is developed as a solo project — from programming, artwork, animation, story, and game systems to the integration of sound and music. External audio elements have been carefully licensed, adapted, and integrated into the game to bring its atmosphere to life.
The goal is to create a game that feels alive, continues to grow, and offers a world you'll want to return to again and again.
